About Berna

I am a freelance female photographer. Also a design student, a former model and an entrepreneur in the modelling industry.

With modelling and artistic background, I am aware of what images would benefit one's portfolio and to compose good images. I am mainly self-taught, and by studying different types of photographic works. I am also deeply in owe to photographers who are willingly shared their knowledge and give me useful tips & tricks.

My style is clean & simple. I love pictures showing natural sunlight reflect on skin, mostly inspired by fine art, sculptures, colour, geometry shapes, and story books.

Nothing beats an image that tells a story and to provoke a viewer's feeling.

I am not afraid to step outside my comfort zone, and I keep on learning different perspectives from what we can see everyday and to translate it through the lense. So I am very experimental at this stage.
